Hi! I'm Amy, and I'm so happy you are here.

I created de-cluttered because I want you to experience how simplicity can feel warm and inviting and still feel GOOD - even if you are living with less!

It all started...

Right before the holidays. Ironically, the season of giving and receiving stuff. With a 2- and 4-year-old at home, everyone was asking me what to get the kids for Christmas. And I thought, seriously? All I do is clean up toys! They don't need anything else!

And that's when it hit me. I simply had too much stuff.

The thought of more coming in completely and utterly overwhelmed me. I was already feeling constant stress because I could never find anything I was looking for. I felt as though I was only cleaning up after my kids, washing dishes, or doing laundry, and I never had time for anything else. It needed to change. But I wasn’t sure where to begin.

I quickly realized that just organizing all of my stuff was not enough. There was way too much. So I started purging. And by purging, I mean going through every single room in my house, touching every single item I owned, to decide if I needed it or not. Some things were obvious (goodbye sweater from 2009! I haven’t worn you in five years!). Other things, like my wedding dress, not so much. It was a long process, but I learned that ultimately, less is more - in so many ways.

Now, everything in my house has a place. (Well, 95% of things do, let's be real here.) If I need something, I know exactly where it should be. If the house gets messy throughout the day, it only takes about 20 minutes of real cleaning or tidying up to be ready for guests. I feel free. And it feels amazing!!!

Because I decided to take this incredible journey, I have time to do the things I want: stay healthy, cook, attempt all those projects I've dreamt of doing - even take my kids out for a beach day at a moment's notice - and so much more. But most importantly, I'm more present. When my husband, my kids, and my dogs need me, I can focus on them without being distracted by a never-ending to-do list in my head. Don’t get me wrong, there are days when I feel behind and overwhelmed with life. The difference is, it’s much easier and faster to bounce back than before. And there's not a storage bin, tray or shelf in the world that can give you that feeling of peace every single day.

Now, I want to share my journey and de-cluttering tips with you! If you live in the Charleston area, I can help you purge your home of all the unnecessary stuff cluttering your life. It can be an overwhelming process to do alone, and I can't wait to help guide you through it so you can enjoy a new found freedom! (And just to put your mind at ease, my goal is to always make sure your items find a new home. Throwing things in the landfill is always a last resort.)

So follow, email, DM, message me, whatever your liking! I'm excited to help you de-clutter your life so you can focus on the people and activities you love. Happy de-cluttering!
